Experience

I officially started Home Artisan Staging in February 2008.

Today we have staged over 1,400 houses. We consistently run 70 properties at a time and work with hundreds of agents.

We run 3 trucks, a full time 4 man crew and stage 1-2 properties a day

(we take weekends off!)

My crew has over 10 years of staging experience and 12 years of moving experience between us. So, we have done this before. We are experts, and very good at what we do. You can trust us to stage your house for a quick sale, and not damage it along the way.

There is a story on how we got to present day that I will share with you. But first, I have learned some important things about this industry over the last 8 years that are important to consider when chosing a stager.

Lesson 1:

You need to be on schedule in this business. Whether we are working with a home owner, builder or 'fix and flip' investor we understand that we are next to last in the line of getting to market. Stage, photos, MARKET! We will not delay you getting to market. We do what we say we are going to do and stay on schedule.

Lesson 2:

Not all contractors stay on schedule. We understand that schedules do not always work out as planned when you have multiple projects to manage. We are flexible in our scheduling and always to our best to adjust as needed when things do not go as expected.

Lesson 3:

Be honest, not accommodating. Many tell you what you want to hear versus telling you what is actually possible. We never want to disappoint, but we will disappoint with an honest answer before telling you what you want to hear every time.

So, how did we get here?

I do have a business degree from Colorado State University; however, I do not have any formal design education. I was simply the lady that redesigned her house every weekend. I have always been a decorator.

I had a number of friends that were Real Estate Agents. Since they knew I had a love and ability for design they began asking me to help them prepare their clients homes for sale. I did this on weekends as a favor for many years. Everyone kept telling me I should start my own business, but I told them they were crazy. I was in sales at the time and absolutley LOVED my job. There was no way I was leaving.

Corporate changes at my sales company caused me to rethink my direction. It was only then that I realized I was no longer simply working with my agent friends as a favor. Referrals and word of mouth had actually started my business without me knowing it. So, I decided to go for it. I quit my job and focused on staging full time. That was almost 8 years ago.

We focused our efforts on staging only vacant houses about three years ago. We simply could not keep up with both sides of the business. Besides, turning a cold empty house into a warm inviting home is simply more rewarding than decluttering and making a few adjustments!

Again...

Today we have staged over 1,400 houses. We consistently run 70 properties at a time and work with hundreds of agents.

We run 3 trucks, a full time 4 man crew and stage 1-2 properties a day (we take weekends off!)

My crew has over 10 years of staging experience and 12 years of moving experience between us. So, we have done this before. We are experts, and very good at what we do. You can trust us to stage your house for a quick sale, and not damage it along the way.

We look forward to working with you, and we appreciate your business!
